Đầu tiên trộn đều hạt óc chó với 120g nhân đậu đỏ. 50g bơ đun nóng chảy và cho trứng, 250ml sữa, 40g đường, chút muối vào cùng, trộn đều lên. Trong âu khác trộn đều 150g bột mì, 80g bột gạo, 4g bột nở. Sau đó cho hỗn hợp bột vào hỗn hợp trứng sữa và trộn đều lên cho hòa quyện với nhau. Tiếp theo rót bột vào 1/2 khuôn, đặt vào 1 chút nhân đậu sên sẵn rồi múc bột phủ đầy lên trên cho đầy khuôn.
Mở lò nướng trước 10 phút ở 180 độ C. Sau đó cho khuôn bánh cá vào nướng từ 20 - 25 phút là bánh chín, vàng ươm và thơm lừng luôn đấy. Lấy bánh ra, để nguội một chút và lấy ra khỏi khuôn. Cuối cùng chỉ cần thưởng thức thôi nè.
